Kitchen Remodel - Palmetto Construction and Renovations
This traditional Gregg Park home was in need of a kitchen update. The existing kitchen was a bit dated, he sink was in an awkward location, and the placement of the oven created an awkward corner. The desk area located in the kitchen also resulted in underutilized space.
The project centered on relocating all of the appliances to create a better layout along with adding some more functional cabinets. The closet panty was updated to offer better space utilization. The peninsula was also enlarged slightly and now offers a great spot for casual dining or entertaining.
The renovation included all new custom cabinets with flat panel doors and drawer fronts and appliance panels for the refrigerator and dishwasher. In addition to new appliances, the new kitchen includes quartzite countertops, a tile backsplash, and new lighting – both can lights along with LED under cabinet lighting. To keep the backsplash clean looking, electrical outlets were installed under the upper cabinets.
A fresh coat of paint and refinished hardwood floors completed the project.
