This home is on Lake Murray and has beautiful views, but it was difficult to enjoy them with the existing two-level deck. Also, a portion of the deck is covered, but the low pitch of the cover hindered lake views from inside the home. Kehoe Constructors, LLC was tasked to make the two-level deck into one level and correct the roof pitch so homeowners could see out to the lake from inside.

 

The result is a 640 square foot, single-level deck with cable railing and built-in dry storage underneath for lake toys. The roof pitch was corrected, and a metal roof was added to account for the low pitch and make water runoff work better. Now the homeowners can entertain with out seperating guests on two seperate levels and lake views can be enjoyed from inside and out.
