This home, located on a watery pointe in a Northeast Columbia neighborhood, has great lakefront footage but did not fully take advantage of the view. Also, the existing deck did not offer any covered area or tie in well with the interior of the home.
Ken Baker of Carolina Traditional Homes, Inc. designed a whole new outdoor area that would fix all of that. They first removed the existing deck and then built a new covered porch with concrete deck, large tile and tied it into the kitchen area with matching parque flooring (well done, too). The final touch on the new space is the commercial wire railing that allows full view of the lake.
