This long-time family home has been passed down to the next generation and it was time to bring the kitchen up to modern-day standards. (Mom wasn't 100% on-board, but she's grown to like it now.)
Capital Kitchen & Bath brought this old home up to code with a full demolition of the kitchen and laundry area and bringing in all new electrical, plumbing and insulation. There's now new lighting - fixtures and can lighting, new cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, tile floor and even paint.
The result is a much lighter feel, but the old wood cabinet feel is retained in the island and the shelf ledge that was added around the perimeter of the kitchen. The cherry wood open shelves tie the kitchen perimeter to the island and bring it all together.
